What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate is a word for someone that recommends products they like and get compensated financially for doing so.  If you like any or all of my products you can sign up for my affiliate program and recommend them, earning a percentage of the sale.

As an example if someone bought one of my eBooks through a recommendation of yours, you would get paid USD $8.  Obviously if someone buys one of my higher priced items you get a higher dollar amount.

I've put together a short series of videos here in which I walk you through signing up as an affiliate, logging in to the affiliate area and using the links and banners that are provided in the affiliate area to promote any products you like to your friends and customers (if you have your own business/website).

You can promote products to people via email, on your blog (of you have one), Twitter or Facebook.

Video 1. How To Sign Up For The Raw Chef Affiliate Program

In this video I take you through the very simple process of signing up for the affiliate program.  Simply watch this video and then click the button below the video to sign up.

Video 2. Signing In & Text Links

In this video I show you how to sign in to the affiliate area and how to access your own personal text links, which in a later video I will show you how to use to promote specific products.

Your personal text link is simply a URL (website address) that leads to any of my products, or my main products page, that when people click on it the affiliate system knows you sent them and can attribute any sales to your account, so you can then get paid your commission.

Video 3. Accessing The Banners

Instead of using text links I also provide you with banners in various sizes that will help you advertise my products.  A lot of people find that banners, because they are more visually appealing, will attract more 'clicks' than a simple text link.

In a later video I show you how to use these banners on your blog, if you have one.

Video 4. Using Banners & Links In a Blog

I start off this video by showing you how to use your personal affiliate links to promote my products via email.  As an example you may be having a conversation with someone and recommend my products to them.  They may then ask for my website address, so instead of just telling them to go to my website, you can email them a link that will result in you getting affiliate commission for sending them, should they buy anything.

I then show you how to use the banners and links to promote my products in blog posts, which you'll see is very easy.

Video 5. Using Links In Twitter

In this video I show you how to use your affiliate links in Twitter.  This is a very short video and a very simple process.

Video 6. Using Facebook

One of the most popular ways to promote my products, aside from a blog, is via your Facebook page.  In this video I'll show you how you can easily use your Facebook page to promote my products to your friends.
