Finding My Own Answers
Before we get into the practicalities of how to make raw food, I wanted to come back around to this idea of finding my own answers to my skin problem.
The medical system and experts had failed me in a very specific way.
They’d told me there was no scientific proof of a link between my skin condition and what I was eating.
But I’d discovered beyond all reasonable doubt that food has an effect on my skin.
Despite what the doctors acne websites said.
Here’s how it happened…
When I got ill in my late teens and early twenties it meant having no appetite. When I didn’t eat a whole lot, my skin got better.
It was a very slight improvement, but it was noticeable. When you have skin issues, you become acutely aware of small changes, which translates into whether it’s going to be a ‘good’ day or a ‘bad’ day. Man, I wish I could go back and give myself a hug.
Not eating isn’t a good long term solution to bad skin.
But looking back, I think it was enough to show me that food & skin connection. It may well have been the idea that seeded my 7-day Thailand detox.
What I saw happen to my skin during the detox was the definitive answer.
What happened to my skin when eating raw food sealed the deal.
Feeling the Pull
If you’ve made it this far, I assume you’re drawn to raw food like I was.
I don’t know what your personal reason is.
My experience tells me it could be wanting to do something proactive for your health, as you get older. Or maybe you want to support yourself nutritionally in your healing from something more serious.
I can’t promise specific results. I’m not a doctor, or a nutritionist.
But I do promise that I care.
I care about helping you find your path, based on your personal destiny (the unfolding of what is real).
